With the series “Where it is going,” I wanted to reference the process, a certain developmental line that not only relates to the creation of the artwork but metaphorically touches upon the question of the direction of the person, the author, the painter.

A key moment in it is the character of the work, reducing the painting to two dominant elements: color and brushstroke. Color, as an object of personal fascination, reflects natural phenomena, lighting conditions, and their changes.

The brushstroke, on the other hand, is important in exploring the ways it is applied. It can be decisive, flowing, or light. Uncertain, halting, waiting. Waiting for the next movement. Light, transparent, covering, firm.
